The journey includes viewing of my many award winning quilts up close, along with a discussion of techniques used to make them. Heirloom Machine Quilting Workshop
You know how to free motion quilt, but now what? How do you get those beautiful intricate creative designs into your quilt? This class will teach methods for intricate quilting designs with emphasis on marking, free motion techniques, and tight fillers. Includes several feather designs, cross- hatching, and the use of stencils. Not for beginner quilters! This class is best suited for the home quilter or long arm quilters. We will be using a domestic machine in class and doing lots of drawing to practice the designs.

First, learn the techniques to paint your own 15 inch Christmas tree block/wall quilt. This is a fun, easy to learn, and forgiving paint technique.
After the paint dries, we will quilt the project with a few fun free motion designs.
Kit includes black Fabric with marked design and batting. Paints and paint brushes will be made available for shared use.
